SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM - Baptisms are celebrated every second and forth Sunday at 12:00pm. Parents are expected to attend a Pre-Jordan Baptism class. Please call the Rectory to register for a class so that we have adequate materials. Godparents and children are welcome to attend. SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE - In order to accommodate our own Parishioners, only Parishioners of St. Peter (Bride or Groom) will be able to be married in St. Peter Church. Couples planning to marry at St. Peter are expected to contact the priest to arrange a date and time first. Second, they must attend the Pre-Cana Conferences as mandated by the Bishop. The period of preparation for marriage is a minimum of six months to ensure completion of all arrangements before the wedding date. For Pre-Cana reservations call 663-1373. Only Parish Musicians are permitted for Wedding Masses. NO EXCEPTIONS. SACRAMENT OF THE SICK - The priests may be called at any time day or night for the Sacrament of the Sick. Furthermore, the priests will be happy to visit the Sick with Holy Communion upon request. SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION - Tuesday 12 Noon-12:30pm; Saturday 2:30-3:30pm and 6:30-7:00pm FUNERALS - The proper form of Church burial for a baptized Catholic is the Mass of Christian Burial, not a service at a funeral home. Viewings in the Church are not permitted. Funeral Masses are scheduled at 10:00am. No eulogies in church, and only Parish Musicians are permitted for Funeral Masses, NO EXCEPTIONS. The month of June has traditionally been devoted to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus for centuries. The Heart of Jesus symbolizes the divine and human love of Jesus for every soul he created. This devotion has been developed over the years through the revelations and writing of a series of saints and mystics, notably St. Bernard of Clairvaux (1090-1153), St. Bonaventure (1221-1274), St. Mechtilde (1210-1280), St. Gertrude (1256- 1302), St. Francis of Rome (1384-1440), St. Francis deSales (1567-1622), and St. John Eudes (1601-1680). All of these saints have made their contributions to a deeper appreciation of the mystery, but above all the Sacred Heart devotion is especially connected to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque (1647-90). Her encounters with Jesus displaying his adorable Heart have marked this devotion deeply. Through it the faithful are moved by the knowledge of Jesus' tremendous love and mercy for humanity, and his desire to be loved by his creatures in return. Our St. Paul Ministry currently serves 69 families consisting of 283 individuals — 137 adults and 146 children within our community. Through our monthly pantry distribution held every third Saturday, we strive to provide food and basic necessities to those experiencing hardship. At this time, our pantry shelves are becoming increasingly difficult to maintain, and supplies are running low. As the need continues to grow, we humbly ask for your support. Donations of nonperishable food items, grocery store gift cards, or monetary contributions are greatly appreciated and will directly assist local families in need. Poor boxes located at the entrances of the church directly support this important ministry and offer a simple way to help our neighbors in need. Together, as a parish family, we can continue Christ's mission of caring for one another. Thank you for your generosity and continued prayers for the families we serve.
