This Week

Artists with the Spirit, Days on the Lake

We offer a quiet, spiritual, and naturally inspiring atmosphere to paint, write, sketch, or craft. Because the retreat center is situated right on the water, it provides the perfect backdrop for the day. Please bring your lunch and art supplies. Coffee, tea and other hot and cold drinks will be provided. Sr. Lany Jo will be available for any help or guidance wanted. A Free Will Offering is asked for this day. Registration is absolutely necessary at sacredheartonthelake.org or call at 203-606-9102.

Prayer list

Prayer for the Deceased

Please remember those who have gone before us marked with the sign of faith, especially, those in Africa, Ukraine, Middle Eastern Countries and Myanmar.

Prayer for the Sick and for Peace

We continue to pray for our homebound parishioners, and those dealing with illness or recuperating from surgeries or treatments. Heavenly Father, I come before You in faith, seeking Your healing touch. I believe in Your power to restore health and wellbeing. Lay Your hands upon me and remove any sickness, pain, or distress from my body, mind, and spirit.

We pray for an end to war and violence in the world.

We pray for our country and its leadership.
